  1. you can only do it with really fresh eggs, see how the yolk stands proud of the white, that doesn’t happen with supermarket eggs as they are much too old. But it’s a great method for fresh eggs.

  2. I’ve done this a few times, and I typically break one yolk for every three that I can remove. With that being said, it’s far easier just to buy egg whites in the carton.

  3. I’m far more likely to have old eggs than soda bottles in the house, so I think I’ll stick with just doing it in the shell.
