I already have – not worth the hassle. Filtering with fingers is far more reliable and convenient.
Learned it years ago, did short-order cooking as a sideline job. 1999, I think.
This method has been around for years. I’ve tried it but it’s only worth the effort if you have a dozen eggs to separate for a dish.

That’s one way to do it, I usually build myself a contraption out of lego.

I’m far more likely to have old eggs than soda bottles in the house, so I think I’ll stick with just doing it in the shell.
The problem with doing it in the shell – I think people forget where eggs come from (:P)
