Look at the invisible tree


Artists Daniel Siering and Mario Shu have rather cleverly wrapped foil around a tree and then used spray paint to make it seem invisible.  How clever.  And you can see more about the story here.

      I imagine that to from too far away, it would just all be in shadow. It would be interesting to see it in shadow and walk toward it until a mid section suddenly appeared transparent.

    It’s like the tree in Death’s garden in the Terry Pratchett books. He’d attached a swing to the two strongest branches of the tree which just happened to be on opposite sides, he then just removed the middle section so it would swing through. Logical 😉
