Genuine or photoshopped?

Photoshopped, I believe. The ‘bottom’ shadow on the 4th leg seems impossibly far removed. He’d have to stretch his leg back futher than the lenght of his tail.

  2. Geodetective says:

Genuine. Snapshotted it, warped perspective to undistort the shadows perspective. The result is here:

Then it doesn’t look too weird anymore.

    Brilliant! 🙂

  4. Adrian says:

Photoshopped. I agree with Ann / Vint. Plus the foreleg shadows are not correct. The dog is pulling over to the right with both its forefeet close together. Therefore there should be two foreleg shadows close together. I think one has been deleted and a sinister trailing rear leg added!

  5. Eddie says:

‘…a sinister trailing rear leg added!?’ Where are my pills!

  6. Gus Snarp says:

Anybody who’s walked a dog with low angle sun from the side would know there’s no reason to think this is photoshopped. My dog has a very similar shadow sometimes (though he’s a short hair and therefore not quite as gruesome looking in shadow form. We call it his inner wolf.

Can we have a third choice: “Genuinely Photoshopped ™” ?
