New approach to sleight of hand….

This year I had the pleasure of spending time with magician Yann Frisch at the Essential Magic Convention.  Yann is developing a novel approach to sleight of hand, and this is a wonderful clip of him in action.  Enjoy!

A joy to watch. I am an occupational therapist. I specialise in hand therapy and I have benn working with magicians for the last year. Magic is used in many rehab centres as a powerful tool to retrain motor and cognitive skills

First time I’ve seen an autism-inspired stage persona. Think it works really well.

It’s not the sort of comment I would usually make, but this dude looks very much like noted HolyGhost Denier Richard Dawkins on a bad-hair day.

This is excellent, Richard, thanks for sharing it 😀 There’s something in the efficiency of movement and that slightly bewildered expression that somehow reminds me of Charlie Chaplin in the old silent movies. Simple legerdemain excellence and a delight to watch. Thanks for this one 🙂
