    1. I don’t think it would work every time. I think it would if the mark was reacting to you releasing the note though. The risk would be in their anticipating your releasing the note instead.
      I remember at middle school having our reaction times measured in a similar way but with a metre long wooden rule. Our reaction would be calculated from however many centimetres passed before we stopped the ruler’s fall.
