238 takes – but worth it!

Just came across this lovely video that was made using several iPhones.  Apparently it took endless takes, but I think it was worth it…

What do you think?

P.S. If you are curious about how it was made, there is another video here (via David B)

Bzzt. Thank you for playing, but ‘Sponsored by Apple??11!?’ has been retired as the default response to any post featuring an apple product, due to chronic over-use. Good try, but please keep up to date.

🙂 It was the discussion of the deviant, non ‘i’ phone of the four in the ‘how to’ vid that really got me.

Cool project. They obviously had a lot of fun. This is the sort of thing that tempts you to ask if they have too much time on their hands, but as the awesome George Hrab asks, “What are you doing with your time that’s so great?”

this is a short film of people moving ipads around on a desk, is about as interesting as watching a newly painted chessboard dry.

Very well executed. Unfortunate choice of song, but oh well. To those who say ‘rubbish’… wtf have YOU done lately? No. Seriously. Wow me.

Creative, needs lots of manual dexterity and memory to get it right. This could be a Mensa test. Any less than 500 takes and you’re in.

I say it’s pretty cool. I bet it took you a lot of takes. I laughed at the broken iphone. You had fun and that’s what matters!! great job guys!
