Richard has presented keynote addresses to organisations around the world, including Microsoft, Caltech, Google, and Amazon.  Most recently, Richard presented the opening address at the ESOMAR Congress (article here) and spoke at the Swiss Economic Forum.  Much of this work has involved helping organisation become more successful by embracing the lucky mind-set.

For the past decade Richard has also spoken at several science and literary festivals, including The Royal Society, The Royal Institution, The Edinburgh Book Festival, The Cheltenham Literary Festival and The Dubai Festival of Literature.

In 2012 Richard presented his new show, Psychobabble, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to sell out audiences and positive reviews (‘hugely entertaining’ Fringe Guru 5 stars; ‘hard to beat’, Fringe Review 4 stars; ‘very funny and very entertaining’, Three Weeks 4 stars).

Finally, Richard has also interviewed various celebrities about the psychology involved in their work, including Ken Dodd, Armando Iannucci, Derren Brown, Alan Davies, and Ian Rankin.
