    Shows that people who succeed are the ones who like being the centre of attention.

  3. Literally, being the centre of attention. Also, the opposite: if you want to avoid being noticed, stay near the edge.

    Also what matters, is who you desire to notice you. Are they observing or are they participating? Participants in a high-active environment are likely to notice other high-active participants, whereas observers are likely to notice low-key particpants.
