Oh, that’s a delightful picture! Even though it’s clear (no pun intended) how the illusion works, that doesn’t detract from the magic of it. In fact, it adds to the serenity and makes the image more delightful

Saw my first pic like that in one of my dad’s National Geopgraphics when I was about 9, in an article on spelunking. (Yes,they called it that then. Deal with it.) Over the decades I have never forgotten that illusion by that amazing crystalline suberranean water.
