So, here’s the question – which one do you prefer?
Milk carton
I’m gonna go with the milk bottle, because that one probably got that way by accident…
The milk carton because the dog one is obvious. Someone’s just superglued the dog’s paws to the wall.

The second one is simple pareidolia. The first is creative, if pedestrian (pun intended), and thus gets my vote.
I like the dog one. The milk one isn’t actually an illusion unless carrots shaped like vaginas are illusions too (and they aren’t).
Actually the milk one is an illusion, as is reality in its entirety.

Even the bottle could have been staged. But I’ll go for the people and dog. This must have taken ages to get all participants to pose in unison.

I have to choose the milk jug. I only noticed the dog after noticing the face.
I’m astonished that anyone is even asking the question. The milk carton is obviously better. I think it’s appalling that a group of supposedly responsible adults would conspire to commit such a blatant act of animal cruelty by gluing a dog to a wall, just for the sake of taking a stupid photograph. Shame on Comrade Wiseman for giving publicity to this outrage.
Don’t worry about the dog, I suspect it might be fake.

That was exactly my impression as well
As clever as the sticky dog is, the milk carton is much funnier. And it totally needs a caption… something like, “Hey you… quit looking at my jugs.”
The milk bottle simply isn’t an illusion where the wall-walking dog photo is (even if it does echo a well known camera manufacturer’s ad campaign).
So only the first qualifies (and it’s generally better and more imaginative anyway).

The girl second from the left in the first image is ruining it a bit by being in a posture that is clearly lying down. Everyone else has done a great job of looking like they’re standing.
In her defence she’s trying to hold her hair so as to stop it falling at right angles.
Still prefer the milk bottle as it is less derivative.

If I saw a milk carton I’d leave it on the shelf! If it was delivered to me, I think I’d throw it out! So, the first one. But it hasn’t really got ‘the wow factor’.

The first one would be better if there were fewer people in it. There’s something odd about having that many people lean against a wall and noone standing anywhere else.
The first one was an obvious camera angle “trick” before I even saw the dog. While the second one isn’t really an illusion, I prefer that image to the first.

The first one is just cruel. Why would anyone glue a poor, innocent pup to the wall like that?
picture one is technically easy. just a fast shutter and flash and swing the dog at high speed on the leash. no real creativity at all.

If done by someone then the milk carton. Sticky dog is OK but the blond’s ponytail hangs wrong. The 2 brunettes kept their hair under control. But the PETA group will be after you for mating the genes for a gecko to a dog just so it will stick to walls.
One girl was holding her hair while the other had her hair rested over her shoulder. I wonder why.

I prefer the dog illusion, because of the great care with which the people were posed.
And unhappy milk carton is not unhappy. Smug milk carton is SMUG.

I suspect photoshop on the milk one. In particular the ‘mouth’ doesn’t seem feasible – would it really be possible for such a narrow indentation/crack to be formed in the bottle at that point without it rupturing?
