Two lovely things came across my desk today. First, @esperto123 sent me a ‘genuine’ version of the old rabbit-duck illusion, albeit with a duck and rabbit!
Second, Steve D emailed across a nice video combining magic and the new Apple ipad….

That is no duck, that is a kookaburra!
The bird in the picture is a Kookaburra, by the way. Awesome birds, about three of them live outside my house at the moment.
It’s a kookaburra, not a duck! But yes, it looks surprisingly rabbit-like.
It’s a great pic, although a little gruesome, in that if you picture it as a rabbit it seems there’s a gash in its head between its ears (the pink in the kookaburra’s mouth)

Oh how lovely! I like this as I have both rabbit {English Spot Rabbit named Flopper!} and birds {Green Cheek Conure named Jade and a Budgie named Blu Bell}. I would name him George, I would hold him and pet him and squeeze him!…… hehe…..

Reading the comments left is somewhat less fun… although interesting that so many people chose to repeated watch his performance to find inaccuracies, rather than focus on the creative. Shame.
Having seen lots of kookaburras in my life I can not help but see it as such. No matter how much I squint. Anyway, what would a rabbit be doing up in the old gum tree?

I saw a rabbit before I saw the bird. Never heard of a kookabura before. But fortunately, I have teh internets and I can has more info than I ever want about them.

Someone who say that The iPad in general is dumb. There are better, cheaper things available if you need somethign in between smart phone and a laptop.
